She made bad choices.
He was just one of many.
True he led to many more bad choices, but who is to say that she would not have found this path alone. Truth be told she was already following a trajectory which some may say would have inevitably led her to this place. A trajectory that may have started even at birth.
Who’s to say that she ever really had any say in the mater.
He may not have been causative.
But none would argue that his involvement was not at least in some way catalytic.
