#73 No Place for Angels
The first opened his mouth and made a sound that could never have come from a human throat.
“For fuck sake man we use our human names and voices here” the second admonished.
The first looked sulky and irritated.
“Why do we have to meet in a dive like this anyway Brian” he said, his voice turning sarcastic as he forced out the last word.
Brian looked around him and the fifty or so people sitting in the bar who had turned at the astonishing sound returned to their drinks and instantly forgot the last ten seconds of their lives.
