#60 Scraps
He collects scraps.
Scraps of paper mostly but some days anything seems to be fair game.
No one knows why. He’s been here longer than any of the staff and he stopped communication years ago.
Apparently he continued to communicate for about five years by writing after he stopped speaking. Back then he had written on the scraps he collected. But he had stopped writing more than two decades ago, yet he still collects the scraps.
I can’t help thinking that perhaps he’s bottling it all up and one day he’s going to start writing again and he’ll never stop.
