#37 Time is Relative
He picks up the phone and pushes the button to illuminate the screen
Nothing.
It’s the tenth time he has checked in the last fifteen minutes.
She is so bad about replying to texts.
On occasion it’s taken her up to six hours to respond.
When this happens, he usually concludes that she never wants to see him again by the three hour point and by the time the text arrives, he’s torn between a noose and dialling his ex.
Then the phone buzzes. He tenses and snatches it up.
“No prob x”
He breathes a sigh of relief.
