#28 Meow

And just like that, they were gone.

Every single cat on the planet disappeared.

Not just the house cats, the whole cat family.

 

Countless theories were formed, disputed and decried.

More than a few “Crazy Cat Ladies” committed suicide, unable to deal with life in the absence of their furry feline friends.

 

In the years that followed, massive complex changes occurred.

The prey of the big cats flourished to a point where their food supplies were threatened.

Some said that this imbalance would lead to the end of the world.

But it didn’t.

Things adjusted.
