#23 Eulogy for a Mermaid
“It’s like making a pair of jeans for a mermaid”
That’s what Tori said to us one day as we sat in the food court of the mall.
That sums her up really.
She just saw things differently from the rest of us I guess. If there was a simple way of looking at something, she often just didn’t get it. Or if she did get it, she just wasn’t interested.
I loved that about her.
I just hope she can swim to heaven.
And I hope when she gets there, they’ve got fantastic facilities for mermaids.
I’ll miss her.
