#11 Chemistry 101
Her eyes were deep brown pools you could fall into and never return from.
Her skin was like caramel.
Often I found myself staring at her, wondering if she tasted like caramel too.
I knew of course, that she didn’t.
Obviously.
But sometimes the senses overpower logic.
Once my mom brought home this strawberry scented handwash.
It smelled amazing. I was convinced it must taste good.
It didn’t.
On days when she came in wearing a top that was even faintly opaque, I didn’t really hear a word Dr Malone said.
I pretty much blame her for failing chemistry.
