#88 Sensory Deprivation
When I awake, it is completely dark.
I try to sit up but I find myself restrained. I lie for a moment, making small movements to ascertain where the restraints are placed. Wrists, elbows, throat, waist, knees and ankles.
Someone isn’t taking any risks.
I lie and listen carefully for tell-tale sounds of my location, but all I hear is the blood rushing in my ears.
It is eerily, almost unnaturally quiet and dark.
I cast my mind back to the last things that I remember but I recall nothing unusual.
Nothing to do but wait, I suppose.
