“So what do you want to do today?” he asked.
“How about we go to the beach?” she replied.
“Really?” he said, somewhat incredulously, “but there’s so much more to see!”
“I know, honey,” she replied “but we’ve been walking every day for five days. My feet hurt and I’d just like an easy day.”
He considered this for a moment.
“OK, but there are a few things that I really wanted to see today. How about we do that this morning and go to the beach this afternoon?”
She sighed, the holiday had helped her make up her mind.
